The subject of my advocacy was checking and advice on purchasing a property in Istanbul. The related point on municipality, Tapu (land registration) office and quality of property documents are perfectly accomplished by the advocate. And his recommendation was to the point and appropriate. What shall be improved is to define other avenue of customer requirements such as facilitations in translation of documents, residence requirements and possibly facilitations, more involvement with the client in solving the stresses coming from unfamiliarity with Turkish law and procedures in municipality, immigration office, water, gas and electricity distribution procedures.for examples advise on requirement of documents for residence permit application, Earthquake insurance coverages requirement of purchased property, addresses of the locations that the purchaser should visit and procedures that should he follow to be compliant to the law and procedures.
